Shamequia Cason-The scholastic achiever that is never satisfied, as she received both her Bachelors and Master’s degree with the aggressive pursuit of completing her PhD, and a goal to support her philanthropic efforts within the Dallas sector. Shamequia paved her personal road of notoriety among Dallas notables with her self-rising business-Black Beauty Accessories. With 10 years of experience, Shamequia is a personal fashion stylist, brand manager for personal and business brands, a publicist, Executive Director and Founder of Trend Next-What’s Now, What’s New, What's Next-a Charity Fashion event in which the Baylor Health Care Foundation benefits from the proceeds. Recently partnering with Donate Life Texas, Shamequia has a passion to raise the awareness of organ donation by positively impacting the number of registered donors.

The passion to raise awareness for Organ Donation and Kidney Transplantation began with her own health issues that forced Shamequia on dialysis for 5 years and ultimately a kidney transplant. An active voice for the Baylor Health Care System, Shamequia has served as a spokesperson by participated in various campaigns such as print work, billboard apperances and recording commercials, which air on local television, in efforts to raise 250,000,000 for the 2015 Baylor Make All Better initiative. The battle to regain her own personal strength has been the driving force of bringing forth a fashion show with many “FIRST” such as Haggar Clothing Co. participating in a runway show in the company’s history.

During the summer time, Shamequia enjoys feeding less fortunate children with her summer feeding initiative with under Trend Next
Regardless to health hardships, Shamequia has found the time to become a wife and mother. Writing has always been a passion for Shamequia, as she served as a contributing fashion writer for Southern Dallas County Business and Living Magazine. When taking a break from the fashion and philanthropic world, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and shopping. Taking pride in setting Trends, Shamequia looks forward to shedding light on charity, and fashion among the Dallas elite.
