Miss A Columnist

Marielle Wakim is currently a Masters student at the University of Southern California working towards her degree in Professional Writing. Though she loves and misses sweet home Chicago (yes, even the cold weather), she decided to move out west in pursuit of her dream and has since been exploring all that LA has to offer. Some of her favorite things to discover are hidden-gem restaurants and bakeries, trendy spas and salons, and new hot spots and nightlife. An avid pop culture junkie, she also enjoys covering red carpet events and writing film reviews. You can check out her blog on pop culture at www.blarfblog.tumblr.com. If you have an LA charity or cultural event, restaurant, boutique, spa, or salon you would like covered on Miss A, please contact Marielle at marielle.wakim@gmail.com

Among the many restaurants in Los Angeles that claim to specialize in healthy, organic fare, Brentwood’s A Votre Sante is one of the few that truly commits itself to salubrious excellence. Nestled on San Vicente right next to the Brentwood Country Mart, the charming, café-style restaurant whose name means “to your health” in French […]
