 Melanie Martin is a lover of words, beauty, art and anything creative. Being the ugly duckling and middle child, she grew up spending most of her time in the library or tucked away reading a book in a corner of a room-not much has changed upon reaching adulthood. Not too long ago, she discovered that she was in love with something else besides the world of words: beauty. This led her to attend The Paul Mitchell School where she found out that you can mesh both of your loves and end up with a world of amazing opportunities. She is a hairstylist/poet/writer/fashionista/lover of nature & life. She cannot live without her journal, fashion magazines and her witch hazel astringent, and oh yea-she isn’t so much of an ugly duckling anymore. Melanie loves dogs, most cats and is big on giving back to the community.
