 A native of Denver, Colorado, Katherine Jerome has a diverse background ranging from Investment Management to Citizen Journalism. A published author, she has a non-fiction book in the works, hoping for publication sometime in 2011. Looking for the new, the newsy, and the newsworthy, Katherine always has her finger on the pulse of the metro Denver area. As a featured columnist in The Denver Post, her passion for writing and connecting with the local community has given her the opportunity to check out style and decorating trends, connect with local charities, attend events and partake in the mile high menu of fabulous restaurants and cafe’s, just a stone’s throw away from the Rocky Mountains. Katherine has a not so “secret” addiction to all things cake, and can often be found creating in her kitchen, Kat's Suite Cakes, or more likely, checking out the newest that Denver has to offer in the way of cupcakes.
