 Originally from Houston, Texas, Hope A. Thomas is a senior at Clark Atlanta University studying to receive a bachelor's degree in Mass Media Arts with a concentration in Radio/TV/Film. She plans to pursue a MPA/JD degree and would like to have a career working in the non-profit sector. She is interested in letting readers know about fun as well as philanthropic events in the city. School bells are ringing again as young children everywhere are missing the summer counting down until its return. Georgia Association of the Deaf will host the inaugural Deaf Children’s Literacy Gala on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the J.W. Marriott Atlanta Buckhead to raise money and awareness.
