Having grown up in rural Pennsylvania and suburban Ohio, she loves the hustle and bustle of Washington, DC. She has dabbled in everything from interior design to web design and is always looking for something new to learn. She’s been an animal shelter volunteer, a sales clerk, a database organizer and a babysitter and considers herself a jack-of-all-trades (and master of some). In the four years that Makeup Artistry by Tracie has been a company, it has been honored with several awards and milestones. In 2007, The Washington Mystics (WNBA) invited Tracie to participate in events and do the girls’ makeup, which she does every year. She was formerly a bridal consultant and did marketing and public relations work for A Formal Affair Bridal and Formalwear Boutique and was the creator of their Bridal University workshops.
