Picnic Theatre Company’s An Evening In the Twilight Zone: A Parody at Dumbarton House to Benefit Courage for Kids

picnic theater twilight zoneJust in time for Halloween, join Courage for Kids, Picnic Theatre Company and Dumbarton House for cocktail party theater with An Evening in The Twilight Zone:  A Parody!  On Wednesday October 26, Thursday October 27 and Friday October 28, experience three short episodes of classic 1950s sci-fi suspense, exploring themes of Cold War fears in American suburbia; artificial intelligence for daily living; and the promise and peril of contact with alien civilizations, along with hilarious actual advertisements from a bygone era.

Enjoy wine and refreshments and be transported to another time and dimension at Dumbarton House, one of Georgetown’s finest museums of federal era architecture. Proceeds benefit Dumbarton House and Courage for Kids, providing backpacks filled with school supplies to homeless and at-risk DC kids.

Proceeds from the performance benefit preservation & education efforts of Dumbarton House, one of Georgetown’s finest examples of Federal period architecture, and Courage for Kids, providing back packs filled with school supplies to at-risk children in Washington D.C.
