On Wednesday November 18, Thursday November 19 and Friday November 20, please join Picnic Theatre Company, Courage for Kids, Alfred Hitchcock and Cecil B. De Mille for a madcap international spy chase through London and the Scottish countryside! Live from Hollywood’s Lux Radio Theater in 1935, this one hour adaptation of The 39 Steps, the classic thriller from the master of suspense, will transport you to pre-World War II England’s den of intrigue and oddball characters.

 

Proceeds benefit the preservation of Dumbarton House, one of Georgetown’s finest examples of Federal period architecture, and Courage for Kids GIVE BACK-pack initiative providing backpacks filled with school supplies to homeless and at-risk children graduating from Pre-K programs in the Greater Washington, DC area.
