Kristy Rao is the NYC Editor for Miss A and a Certified Holistic Health Coach. She attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where she studied hundreds of dietary theories, contemporary health issues and topics, as well as both Eastern and Western nutrition. Being a Manhattan native, she loves her city and enjoys supporting it in any way possible. She is passionate about animals, nutrition, fitness, fashion, theater, film, music and art. Recap: Health Advocates For Older People Host Jazz On The Terrace

Health Advocates For Older People, Inc. (HAFOP) hosted their evening of Jazz on the Terrace on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 to recognize the volunteers who support the services of this 501 c 3 organization. Guests danced to music under the stars with dinner served overlooking Central Park.

HAFOP is an organization founded in 1985 by private individuals and non-profit agencies, to help seniors prepare themselves for healthy aging. The organization provides wellness classes, home safety visits, exercise, and social programs, all for free. Programs are offered six days a week year-round at sites around the city.
