What’s better than kicking back with a delicious lager on a Saturday in the bay? Doing it for a great cause! Come out to Pints for Paws in Berkeley, CA a beer festival benefiting the Berkeley Humane Society, a non-profit organization that provides care for homeless animals, from rescue to rehabilitation to placement. According to Berkeley Humane, “Our vision is to be an innovative leader in animal welfare and to provide critical resources to our community, leading the way with best practices in animal care to reduce the number of homeless animal in our community and beyond.”

The festival includes a selection of over 80 craft beers from 20 breweries. You will have the chance to meet small, local craft brewers, cider makers and wine makers. Your palate won’t have time to get bored with the variety of exciting samples you’ll be trying.

The festival also includes live music and a wide range of food to try from local food trucks and vendors. So come out with your pups (on a leash, please) and enjoy a great day in the bay. “While most charity-benefiting festivals only donate a small fraction of proceeds to nonprofits, Pints for Paws is one of the only beer festivals in the country from which 100% of dollars raised will be donated directly to charity. Every dollar raised at the event will go directly to Berkeley Humane to save East Bay dogs’ and cats’ lives,” said Berkeley Humane.
