When and who founded the nonprofit?
In 2014 Hopefully Sow was founded by Erwin & Ash Almonte, Melissa Cadwallader, & Jeremy Sylestine.

Is the organization a 501c3?
yes

What is your EIN?
EIN:464389044

How efficient is your nonprofit? What percentage of donations of all product and financial donations
received go toward helping others vs. administrative expenses?
We are an one hundred percent volunteer based organization. One hundred percent of our donations go directly to
the children we serve.

Could you describe the nonprofit?
At this time, Hopefully Sow serves teens in foster care residing in residential treatment centers, emergency shelters
and therapeutic group homes. We have three areas we focus on, attempting to meet the children’s tangible needs,
providing activities that are creative and engaging, and exposing them to opportunities to broaden their futures
through college, business, and a career.

Where are you based and what sets the organization apart?
We are based in Austin Texas. We are set apart because we not only meet the tangible needs of teens in foster
care. But we also touch on the creativity & the emotional needs that the foster care system so desperately lacks. We
love the kids serve, we try to inspire the kids we serve, we respect, listen, encourage and build connections with the
kids we serve.

What initiatives is the organization currently working on?
We are working towards expanding our programs to serve more teens in foster care. We are also working towards
building our clothing program in hopes of providing gift cards for the kids to do their own shopping for new clothing.
The majority of the teens we serve at this time get their clothing from a gently used clothing closet.

What annual fundraising events does the organization hold?
We are not yet 1 year old and are currently working towards establishing an annual fundraiser.

What achievements is the organization most proud of?
We supplied the Settlement Home for Children with 50 brand new comforter bed sets. Each bed set was a gift to
each child, their very own they can take with them on their journey through foster care. We also continue to keep the
Settlement Home supplied with new comforter sets for future residence as a welcome gift.

Do you work with any brands on cause marketing products or services?
Not at this time but would love the opportunity!
