The famous Dallas Cowboys AT&T Stadium isn’t just used to play the game of football. On Monday May 3, 2015 The North Texas Food Bank held their 11th annual Taste of the NFL: The Ultimate Cowboys Tailgate Party to help with defeating childhood hunger.

This annual event continues to grow each year, and this year was the best year yet! Numerous Hall of Fame Dallas Cowboys, Hall of Famer, Troy Aikman, #72 Travis Frederick, the 2015 NFL Hall of Fame inductee and former Cowboy, Charles Haley, Preston Pearson and Chad Hennings. Along with some of the boys, head coach Jason Garrett and The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders,  participants were also greeted by some of Dallas’ top executive chefs, Kent Rathbun from Abacus, Jasper’s and Hickory, Richard Chamberlain from Chamberlain’s, David Holben from Del Frisco’s to just name a few, that showcased their gourmet dishes from DFW’s hottest restaurants. Local bands such as The Rusty Brothers provided live entertainment, alongside fun-filled activities being played including washers, a mechanical bull and the popular corn hole game. As though that wasn’t enough, you also found both silent and live auctions taking place offering exclusive items such as opportunities for bidders to help sponsor children from NTFB programs at various commitment levels, once-in-a-lifetime experiences like a summer of 20 Dallas concerts held at House of Blues,  Gexa Pavillion and the Dallas Cowboys Practice Suite in Valley Ranch. For the ladies, the auction had items such as a beautiful Christian Louboutin bag and other elegant showcases.
