On April 20, 2015 The Dallas Symphony Orchestra League held a Party of Note showcasing Maestro Jaap Van Zweden as well as concertmaster, Alexander Kerr at Bob’s Steak and Chop House at the Omni Hotel in Dallas.
The dinner and reception was designated to 50 patrons, making for a more intimate setting for the attendees. The DSO President and CEO, Jonathan Martin was in attendance for a Q & A session with Van Zweden. The Maestro answered questions such as, how pieces are chosen for each concert, what motivated him to pursue music as well as answering details about the upcoming 3-week visual arts and performing festival full of local and international artists. As guests enjoyed a wonderful meal and great conversation, they were entertained with several musical performances played by Concertmaster, Alexander Kerr.

All of the evenings proceeds from this event will go towards benefiting the community and education programs for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
