Shoe collecting just became more fun with The Glow Brand’s line of brightly-colored and attractive stilettos. Each model supports a different charitable cause.
Managing Director and Designer, Tammy Haines, was inspired to support various charity organizations in honor of her late mother, Jennifer Haines. The classic pump stiletto model #4002 is actually the racing bib number her mother received from the Comrades Marathon Association for completing her 10th 80km ultra-marathon, qualifying her to join the Green Number Club.
The touching story behind The Glow Brand’s dedication to helping others even extends symbolically into the stiletto designs as wearers both literally and metaphorically stand for their beliefs. There are currently ten colors/charitable causes to choose from – Neon Yellow (The Arts Foundation), Fluo Orange (Starfish Greathearts Foundation), True Green (Missione Sogni), Aqua Blue (International Fund for Animal Welfare), Hot Pink (The Glow Brand New Venture Fund), Radiant Orchid (The Spring of Tampa Bay), Bella Pelle (Mission Bambini), Empress Red (Half the Sky Foundation), La Perla Nera (Predator Conservation Trust) and Lady Greystone. Lady Greystone, a silver pump, does not yet have a charity partner. The Glow Brand is currently accepting nominations after which a partner foundation will be chosen and assigned.
The eye-catching shoes are bold, fashion-forward and made in Italy. The shoes may be shopped at local stockists in Europe, The Middle East and the U.S. as well as online.
