On Saturday, April 18, 2015, get out your motorcycle and join other riders from throughout the Pacific Northwest for the 2015 Tulip Ride, benefiting the Seattle Humane Society and the American Red Cross. The ride will begin at Blazin Bagels in Redmond and end at the Roozengaarde Tulip Farm.
Washington’s annual Tulip Ride brings together motorcycle enthusiasts to ride through the beautiful Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. The Tulip Festival is one of the destination events for the Pacific Northwest, held during the month of April each year. As spring visits the valley, hundreds of thousands of people come to enjoy the celebration, as millions of colorful tulips bloom, painting the landscape in a sea of vivid colors.
This is the 14th year the Tulip Ride has helped out the local community. All riders, all types of motorcycles and all skills levels are welcome to join in on the relaxing ride through the Skagit Valley.
The Seattle Humane Society was the first humane organization to serve King County. Originally devoted to animal issues involving stockyards and slaughterhouses, Seattle Humane later provided animal control services, picking up lost and/or stray animals. True to their mission, they offer pet adoption, humane education, on-campus dog training, a Pet Food Bank, and spay/neuter services to low-income pet owners. Through outreach, advocacy, and services, they strive to ensure that animal companionship is accessible to all.
The American Red Cross exists to provide compassionate care to those in need. Our network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, here at home and around the world, through five key service areas: disaster relief, supporting military families, lifesaving blood, health and safety services and international services.
