On Thursday, February 5, 2015, the American Red Cross of South Florida honored twelve local women for their service to the community and dedication to philanthropy at the 22nd Annual Sara Hopkins Woodruff Spectrum Awards For Women luncheon. Nearly 300 community leaders were present as Ileana Bravo, the event’s Mistress of Ceremonies and Emmy Award-Winning Television Journalist, presented each woman with her respective award.

The event, which was held at Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, began with a silent auction and exhibit showcasing Shapoh, women’s retailer of designer millinery, and D.S. Fashion Jewels. American Woman, an original piece of art donated by Romero Britto, was also on display.
