Chico’s Charity Shopping Day In Palm Beach Gardens To Benefit Adopt-A-Family Of The Palm Beaches

Chico's Charity Shopping Day In Palm Beach Gardens

On Thursday, February 12, 2015, grab a shopping bag and head to the Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens for an exclusive charity shopping day at women’s clothing retailer Chico’s. A portion of the proceeds from all sales made during the shopping period will be donated to Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches.

Chico’s charity shopping day is part of the store’s on-going mission to support philanthropy. The retailer has a 30-year history of providing charitable support to women and family-focused organizations. It began as a small boutique on Sanibel Island, Florida, selling Mexican folk art and cotton sweaters. Chico’s now owns more than 700 stores nationwide.

Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches was founded in 1983 with the purpose of stabilizing families in crisis and helping them form strong, healthy relationships. The organization believes that long-term change is only sustainable once an individual’s basic needs have been met. To achieve this end, Adopt-A-Family provides a variety of support services to families in crisis, including housing, rental assistance, daycare for homeless and at-risk children, tutoring and job training.
