The Broadway sensation, KINKY BOOTS, will be playing Nashville Tuesday, February 3 through Sunday, February 8, 2015 at TPAC’s Andrew Jackson Hall.

KINKY BOOTS took home six Tony® Awards in 2013, including Best Musical, Best Score, Best Choreography, and Best Actor for Billy Porter’s role as Lola.

Inspired by true events, and based on the 2005 film by Geoff Deane and Tim Firth, KINKY BOOTS tells the inspirational story of Charlie Price and the shoe factory he inherits from his father. In an attempt to save the family business, Charlie takes the advice of his new cabaret star friend, Lola. The unexpected pair get fabulous fashion results in this joyful story of discovering friendship and passion in unlikely places.

With music by Tony® and Grammy® award winning pop icon Cyndi Lauper, book by Harvey Fierstein, and choreography and direction by, Jerry Mitchell, of course a Tony® winning Broadway sensation was born.

Kinky Boots proclaims itself as “a feel-good celebration packed with nonstop fun . . . and a kick of pure joy!”  I mean, who doesn’t need a kick of pure joy?!  You can purchase your tickets for the production here and plan to discover what the KINKY BOOTS fun frenzy is all about.
