Children’s Hospital Of Los Angeles And Human Growth Foundation’s Walk For Growth

walk for growth logoThe Human Growth Foundation has partnered with Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles to put on Walk for Growth, which will take place on Saturday December 6, 2014, at Griffith Park.

The three-mile walk will feature teen sensation Mandy Rain who will headline the event that will be co-hosted by comedian and actor Mark Christopher Lawrence. Pop girl group Urban Extreme will perform along with other entertainers. There will be display booths, refreshments, giveaways a Star Wars pavilion plus a celebrity ‘meet and greet’ featuring KCAA Radio’s Dr. Tony O’Donnell, the LA Laker Girls and many others.

The goal of the walk is to, “ increase awareness of childhood growth disorders and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment and help raise funds for research, education, patient support and advocacy.”

The Human Growth Foundation is a non-profit whose mission is to help people of all ages who grapple with growth disorders through research, education, support, and advocacy.

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is one of the oldest and leading hospitals for children in the United States.
