It’s too late to fret now – the holidays are here! Probably quicker than most are ready for. Stores are decorating their windows, lights are starting to be hung, and Black Friday shopping is literally right around the corner.

So in the midst of all the shopping and planning you’re about to do – why not give thought to shopping for a great cause this holiday season.

Head over to Neiman Marcus in Union Square to see over fifty incredible gift items in their latest ‘Love to Give’ collection. Ten percent of the sales from this collection will go to benefit San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Education Programs.

A variety of enrichment programs are available for both teachers and students. For teachers, SFMOMA provides special workshops and teacher institutes, that focus on how educators can incorporate modern and contemporary art into their classroom curriculum, and how they can best use the museum as a resource. Teachers can even borrow materials from the Educational Department to bring right into their classes. For more information, click here.

SFMOMA also offers an Art Express Outreach Program; it’s designed for classes in kindergarten and higher. According to SFMOMA, “Docents, or museum guides, travel to classrooms to lead 45-minute long programs that include hands-on art activities. Docents use posters or projected images to introduce students to a handful works of art from SFMOMA’s collection. These works relate to a specific theme that is meant to build upon classroom learning. For more information about this program and the activities offered, click here.

Brands taking part in this year’s collection include: Diana Vreeland Parfums, John Derian, Dylan’s Candy Bar, Eddie Borgo, Rizzoli, YSL, Kiehl’s, Jonathan Adler, Simon Pierce, and Bedhead and Nest, so finding something for everyone on your shopping list should be a breeze.

This collection is part of The HEART of Neiman Marcus, a foundation that partners with local nonprofit organization, and works to help youth through various art experiences in local communities. Their mission is to bring enriching art experiences to youth… because ART changes lives.

According to Neiman Marcus, “Art is deeply woven throughout the fabric of our company’s heritage, brand, and culture. Engagement with arts, especially for youth, impacts education success, which in turn, pays it forward throughout the community.
