Yappy Hour At Dubliner Irish Pub In Boca Raton To Benefit Share-A-Pet

On Tuesday, November 18, 2014, the Dubliner Irish Pub invites dogs and their owners to Yappy Hour, a dog-friendly networking event. Proceeds from the event will benefit Share-A-Pet, a non-profit organization, and its Pawsitive Reading Program.

Share-A-Pet trains and certifies owners and their dogs to provide pet-assisted therapy in hospitals, nursing homes, schools and children’s centers. It is one of four national pet therapy organizations and has centers in New York, Florida and California.

Share-A-Pet’s Pawsitive Reading Program brings dogs into schools so that children can read to them. The program aims to create a supportive, judgment-free environment in which children can improve their reading skills by reading aloud to their classmates and “pawsitive” dog.

Yappy Hour guests will enjoy appetizers and a complimentary cocktail. Dogs are invited to attend.
