Rebecca Richards is an estate planning and taxation attorney from New York. This “recovering attorney” is enjoying all that Miami has to offer – whether it be attending one of the many Miami festivals, touring historic Villa Vizcaya, or sunning on South Beach. Previously, Becky published scholarly articles on estate planning and taxation, and is now is exploring her creativity to write feature articles on a wide variety of topics. While living on Long Island, she was involved in several community service projects and hopes to continue this work in Miami by spreading the word to others through writing. Becky also enjoys music, all things outdoors, meeting new people, and reading. She received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Western Connecticut State University and her law degree from Hofstra University School of Law. The Women’s Fund Of Miami-Dade And Miami-Dade FAWL Host Dining On Divina

On Saturday, November 22, 2014, The Women’s Fund of Miami-Dade and the Miami-Dade chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) will host Dining on Divina, a cocktail party fundraiser in recognition of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. All are invited to board the MSC Divina for an afternoon cruise with complimentary cocktails, lunch, DJ entertainment and a multimedia presentation.

Italian filmmaker Marina Catucci will share a preview of her documentary, Besame Mucho: A Journey into the Mind of Abusers. After the film screening, she, Michael Action-Coles and Grazia Lecca will lead a discussion about the film and its message.

Proceeds from the event will benefit The Women’s Fund and Besame Mucho. Dress is “Miami chic.”

The Women’s Fund is dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in Miami-Dade County. The organization focuses on providing females with developmental programming, increasing economic stability for families and working to end violence against women. To date, they have provided more than 400 gender specific programs with over $3 million.
