On September 25, 2014, the East Dallas Boys and Girls Club advisory council hosted its annual event, Foodiepalooza, at Times Ten Cellars. The evening raised funds to support the East Dallas Boys & Girls clubs programs, events, collegiate scholarships and club renovations. Critically acclaimed chef James Beard Award semi-finalist, John Tesar of Spoon Bar & Kitchen and Knife, mingled with guests as they enjoyed an evening of food, wine and live music by Chris Austin Martinez. Nationally renowned pastry chef Katie Kennedy and chef Grant Morgan of The Ranch at Las Colinas were also in attendance. Emceeing the evening was Scott Murray, chairman and CEO of Murray Media and host of Conversations with Scott Murray and Texas Daily. Guests munched on salads courtesy of Crisp Salad Co, a cheese course from Sprouts and heavy hors’ d’oerves from Marcona Kitchen. Silent and live auctions included dining events at fab local restaurants, a VIP Las Vegas trip, private wine tasting for twenty and much more.
