Giving Opportunities To Others’ Halloween Bash 2014 In Boston

This past Saturday, Giving Opportunities To Others Boston hosted their Annual Halloween Party at the Villa Victoria Center for the Arts. All proceeds of this event supported their mission to fund underprivileged middle school students’ attendance at various summer programs in music, dance, theater, and the arts. As one of the organization’s biggest sources of fundraising, this event was crucial to continue their pursuit. And, with $11,500 earned from ticket sales, it seems that it was a huge success!

Over 200 guests were in attendance, all in the most elaborate, creative, and humorous costumes they could put together. The enthusiasm for the costumes, the cause, and the party was energizing and made the night fly by! The dance floor was completely packed with people enjoying the music, provided by Scattershot (a band that was as big a hit last year as it was on Saturday). Everyone danced and sang along to the hits, and welcomed themselves to the open bar, pizza, and seemingly limitless Halloween candy. GOTO provided every ingredient for a great party!

The hard work of the members of Giving Opportunities To Others had paid off. They were very pleased to have so many people show their support of GOTO’s goals and come together to enjoy their Halloween weekend. It was wonderful to see everyone having so much fun – and benefiting the lives of others in the process!

For those who unfortunately missed the party, don’t worry – they’ll be back next Halloween! Additionally, GOTO will be hosting more events throughout the year, and accepts donations, corporate sponsors, and volunteers at any time.
