Put on your running shoes, because it is time for the Mustache Dache, an event which will benefit the non-profit, Movember, an organization dedicated to the over all health and well-being of the male population.
Mustache Dache is a 5K run, that helps to benefit the well being of men, and fight against prostate and testicular cancer. Anyone is allowed to participate in the race, even those without a mustache.
If, however, you cannot naturally grow a mustache, but would still like to have one for race day, you can take advantage of the free face painting stations they will have at the event.
For the first time, there will be a kids run, so it could be an event for the whole family to attend. Each participant will get a free Mustache Dache t-shirt and a Medal in the shape of a mustache.
Following the 5k, there will be food, live music and special events occurring throughout the area, so don’t tire yourself out too quickly.
Mustache Dache is an event to promote to men’s health by supporting the non-profit Movember, an organization whose mission is to raise awareness for men who have been affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems. Since Mustache Dache started, it has raised over $550 million dollars and has funded over 800 programs in 21 different countries.
