As a female entrepreneur and role model, Chan Luu empowers women with every purchase. Born and raised in Vietnam, she came to the United States for her college years, thereafter exploring a career in fashion in Los Angeles as a personal shopper and eventually opening her own boutique. After a tragic skiing accident, she found herself confined to her bed and began designing accessories with vintage fabrics and beads.

The subsequent launch of her collection featured fresh water pearls and was immediately picked up by a premier showroom. Inspired by art, travel and culture the contemporary designs feature organic shapes, semi-precious stones and leather.  The artsy yet stylish brand has become a favorite among celebrities and has been worn by Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock, Lady Gaga, and Christina Aguilera.  With a successful company and CEO position, Chan Luu still finds the time to design everyday producing five collections a year. The Los Angeles-based brand is now carried by top-tiered luxe locations such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Banana Republic.

This is the fourth year that Chan Luu has partnered with Breastcancer.org as an activist for breast cancer. She has personally designed a line of her signature wrap bracelets in addition to several other jewelry pieces to commemorate the collection.  “Since 2011 we have donated over $400,000 to Breastcancer.org. This money has allowed them to reach more than 300,000 women and girls,” gleaned Chan Luu.  The 2014 Breastcancer.org Collection includes a five wrap silver and black leather bracelet featuring a .22 ct champagne diamond ribbon charm (suggested retail price: $345), a single wrap version (suggested retail price: $170), silver ball chain necklace with a .22 ct champagne diamond ribbon charm  (suggested retail price: $170)n just to name a few. The 2014 Breastcancer.org collection to benefit Think Pink, Live Green can be ordered directly from www.ChanLuu.com.
