With more than 120 craft brews from breweries across the nation, last weekend’s Nashville Beer Festival was one to remember. “It’s the best beer fest in Nashville,” said “Beer-Boy Ben”, a regular attendee of the annual festival. This year’s celebration took place in East Park with two main tents full of all your favorite beers, from New Belgium‘s Fat Tire to Tennessee Brew Works‘ Basil Ryeman.

Proceeds from the festival benefited the Phoenix Club of Nashville and the Boys & Girls Club of Middle Tennessee. The Phoenix Club of Nashville is an organization for young professional men that raises money in social settings for the benefit of disadvantaged youth. The chapter was founded in 2001 and has served as a catalyst in raising funds for Nashville youth and youth programs, with a specific focus on the Boys & Girls Club. The Boys & Girls Club of Middle Tennessee provides programs that help area kids succeed in academics, develop good character, and establish a healthy lifestyle. Their average daily attendance is right around 350 kids! These two organizations are doing amazing things for our youth and in turn, the Nashville community. They’re the perfect pari of beneficiaries for one of Music City’s favorite events.
