Come out for the 16th Annual Buddy Walk presented by The Triangle Down Syndrome Network. The Buddy Walk will take place at Spring Forest Road Park in Raleigh on Sunday, October 12, 2014 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm.
This annual event will be an afternoon filled with fun and excitement, rain-or-shine! Ticket prices vary, but are free for those 3 years old and younger. There will be great food, games, raffles for Carolina Panthers games, a trip to South America, free airline tickets to anywhere in the United States, and much more!
TDSN is a nonprofit support, resource, and advocacy organization serving North Carolina’s Wake, Durham, Orange, and surrounding counties.
All proceeds benefit the local community to help serve more than 400 families in the Triangle area in ways such as new parent socials, monthly support meetings, educational programs, and member social groups and outings.
Less than a mile walk around the Park, this annual celebration continues to show all the support and commitment to improving the lives of individuals with Down syndrome as well as raise awareness in the community.
Last year, the Buddy Walk had a record-breaking attendance with over 1,500 participants raising over $90,000.
