A recent study performed by leading academics and Huggies Diapers discovered that 1 in 20 American moms is in need of diapers for her children.  Diaper need is a state in which a caregiver, parent or guardian cannot supply the diapers that a baby needs and must clean out and reuse soiled or wet diapers.

To help combat this need, Huggies, a Kimberly-Clark company, helped to launch the National Diaper Bank with the Every Little Bottom Campaign.  A brilliant idea where local groups and interested parties can come together and help to serve moms who need assistance in receiving diapers.  Through the study, Huggies discovered that children in households struggling with diaper need are more likely not to receive early childhood education as daycare centers and childcare providers require a full day’s supply of diapers and thus beginning a domino effect.  More than 60 million diapers have been donated since 2010 and many more are needed.

Together, we can help more babies have enough diapers. HUGGIES® Every Little Bottom is the founding sponsor of the National Diaper Bank Network. Find out more about how you can help. Please click here to get involved.
