Art-for-Action

Westside Provisions District’s luxury interior design shop, Peridot West, will host “Art For Action,” an event benefiting Art on the Atlanta Beltline, on Wednesday, August 20. Beginning at 6 p.m., guests will enjoy a Southern-inspired dinner, entertainment and a live auction with exclusive gifts while celebrating one of Atlanta’s greatest public art exhibits.

The evening will begin with a “Southern Summer Supper” from locally acclaimed caterer Dennis Dean, complemented by cupcakes from Piece of Cake. Special surprises will add to the excitement of the night as well as a live performance by Georgia-based rock band, The Deadfields. In addition, work from more than 35 local artists, sculptors, painters, mixed media artists and jewelry makers will be on display for guests to browse through.

Art on the Atlanta Beltline is the city’s largest temporary public art exhibit, showcasing the work of hundreds of visual artists, performers and musicians along the nine-mile corridor.
