Miss A Columnist

Richa Desai is a first-generation born Indian-American, who enjoys writing about and exploring the exciting city of Miami. Originally from Chicago, Richa is a Miami transplant who is looking to make a difference in her community through charity and volunteering. She enjoys being involved with charity events, because it gives her enormous satisfaction knowing she has helped other people. Her passions include: writing, dancing, exercising, sports and making her mark in the social scene. One of Richa’s greatest talents is reaching out to younger generations by pointing them in a positive direction, through a Q&A series. Richa is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in the health-care field and plans on promoting health and wellness her whole life. Her decision to be a part of the health-care field sparked after her very first volunteer experience at a local hospital, when she was in high school. For the first time, she was able to see outside herself and put positive energy towards helping other people. She is very excited and honored to be a writer for the Miss A organization!
