On July 24, 2014, San Francisco’s Finest, a group of Bay Area young professionals who are part of a campaign to raise funds and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation are hosting a night of Tastings and Celebrations.
The night will honor the accomplishments of the members of the Finest group as well as their attempts to raise money for research on Cystic Fibrosis, a hereditary genetic disease that impacts the lungs, intestines, liver and pancreas and effects around 30,000 people in the United States.
The event will be held at the Folsom Street Foundry and will feature free flow wine, beer, food and dessert which will be catered from over 15 renowned local vendors such as 21st Amendment, Eno Wine Bar, Spicy Vines and Sibby’s Cupcakery.
Also featured will be giveaways, drawings, a DJ and dancing and a silent auction with items generously donated by the San Francisco Giants, and Sephora as well as items such as winery tours, gym memberships and gift certificates for spas and salons.
If that isn’t enough, you will also have the opportunity to reminisce about your childhood days by playing classic video games like Super Mario Brothers and house games like ping pong. And don’t forget to check out their exciting photo booth either.
Since 1955 the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has led the initiative to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Over the years their efforts have helped to increase the life expectancies of individuals suffering from Cystic Fibrosis, as well as the quality of their lives. The San Francisco’s Finest group is one of many supporters of the Foundation. Their dedication and passion are some of their most distinguishing characteristics, and they are a perfect example of the rising generation – one that wants to give back and have fun.
