Fendi, one of the world’s top luxury brands will be opening a new boutique in London near Sotheby’s on New Bond Street. To celebrate the opening of the store, Silvia Venturini Fendi has been working very closely with 10 iconic females and collaborating with Sotheby’s to design a one-of-a-kind Fendi Peekaboo bag. Each of the following celebrity icons have used their creativity to design their own version of the Fendi’s Peekaboo Bag. Each celebrity-designed bag will be auctioned off on the Fendi website at the end of May. The proceeds of these creative and unique bags  will be donated to Kids Company; a charity which aims to help and support victims of child abuse.

The individual Peekaboo bags that go for auction will only have one existing twin which will go to the woman who designed it. What’s great about this collection (besides the fact that each bag is one-of-a-kind) is that each bag is dramatically different from one another and reflects the designers personal style. For me, I find it very difficult to choose a single favorite bag in the collection, but a few of my  favorites include designs by Adele, Kate Adie, Naomie Harris and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Gwyneth Paltrow: This is one of my favorite bags in the collection because of it’s simplicity. It’s a large size Peekaboo bag with a shiny white crocodile exterior and white leather interior. This bag really screams Gwyneth Paltrow due to its elegant and sophisticated look.

Cara Delevingne: This large-sized Peekaboo bag is made out of white leather and really shows Cara’s artsy side. The giant S on the front of the bag was inspired to Cara by the idea of a Superwoman. I’m a big fan of Cara so I keep myself updated with her style as often as possible,  and what I love about this bag is that it definitely reflects her sense of style , as well as her carefree personality.

Adele: Adele’s design is by far one of the most unique Fendi bags I have ever seen. This large size Peekaboo bag is made from Selleria three-colored cuoio romano leather in pink, bordeaux and red. The two sides are covered in multi-colored 3d dots and the inside of the bag portrays a content female eyelash-batting expression. I mean really… colored beads AND eyelashes… How rare is that?!

Jerry Hall: This bright shiny bag is a regular size Peekaboo in sleek red croco, with a leather interior which was inspired to Jerry by the Chinese culture. This bag is very chic and will add a bold pop of color to any outfit choice.

Zaha Hadid: This bag is different from the other bags due to it’s unique geometrical design and dimension. Zaha’s creation is a dark grey to black color and features overlapping layers of leather near the top of the bag and black horse hair on the sides. The design of this regular size Peekaboo really shows off Zaha’s architectural talents.

Naomie Harris: Naomie’s bag is one of my favorites because of the underlying message it promotes. This regular-sized leather Peekaboo bag in the color ivory, includes black and white little butterflies flying around the silk image of the continent of Africa. The picture of Africa is made up of black and white vertical stripes representing the idea of equal human rights. I love how Naomie incorporated this message so tastefully onto this bag, and also added three powerful words just on the inside of the bag: “Truth”, “Love” and “Freedom”.

Georgia May Jagger: Georgia’s unique ‘selfie’ design was made onto a large size Peekaboo bag. This bag features a silk-screen image of a photograph shot by Georgia layered with transparent sequins that give the bag a shiny disco effect. What I love about this bag is the unexpected shiny purple interior design. All-in-all this bag ought to grab the attention of anyone and everyone.

Kate Adie: This famous journalist created a regular size Peekaboo bag in a neutral pale pink leather. My favorite part about this bag without any question is the interior design; a popular army camouflage pattern in dark purple, coral-red, ivory, and tiffany blue. You can’t go wrong with a neutral bag… especially one with a fun, unexpected , colorful pattern on the inner fabric! Love it!

Tanya Ling: Tanya’s design started off as an off-white canvas and emerged into a beautiful blue hand painted pattern overlapping it. This white and blue freelance design really shows off Tanya’s illustrating talents, giving the bag dimension as well as a Spring/Summer feel to it andgenuinely reminds me of the beach in the Summertime.  This bag also has a fur handle which adds yet another unique feature.

Tracey Emin: Tracey’s official bag is going to be a large size Peekaboo, but is not created yet for us to see. Thankfully she used her artistic hand to create a watercolor sketch to show us just exactly what the bag will look like. The color of the bag appears to be a light blue with some texture on the front, and a white interior fabric. I can’t wait to see what the final product will look like!
