SkinSpirit Opens At University Village In Seattle

SkinSpirit, recognized as a leader in non-surgical skincare and cosmetics for the face and body recently opened at University Village.  Originally founded in the Bay Area, the SkinSpirit team recently acquired and rejuvenated the Calidora medical spas.

When it was Calidora, I will admit that I used to walk by the blue storefront and stairs many times and walked right by because I could not see what was inside. To be perfectly honest, while I enjoy spa days, the name “Medical Spa” is a little intimidating to me.  However, the new space feels totally different – in a good way.  The space has been re-vamped to look warm, inviting and friendly.   And it is clear that there was a lot of thought that went into making people feel welcome.

The night I was there, the SkinSpirit team was sharing demonstrations of the many different services they offer clients for skin and body.  The friendly feeling also was apparent in how the team shared information.   I watched several demonstrations and was impressed with way the team shared the science behind the treatment, how it gets results and how long it lasts.  I got the chance to learn about Ultherapy – a sound wave based technology that helps lift the neckline.  The before and after pictures from one treatment (no needles!) were pretty dramatic.

In addition to helping people look and feel their best, SkinSpirit has been very involved in helping local community organizations.  When I spoke to SkinSpirit CEO and co-founder Lynn Heublein, she shared,  “We are passionate about helping organizations in local communities and likeminded causes such as education, personal health, and the environment. I’m from Seattle, and am delighted that the Puget Sound region is now SkinSpirit’s community as well.” SkinSpirit has supported many local organizations in California and will continue to get involved in organizations that are important to Seattle.

SkinSpirit has been voted by Seattle Magazine readers for “Best MediSpa Seattle” “Best Place for Skin Care”, “Best Facial” and “Best Skin Treatment”.  In addition to University Village, it has locations in Redmond and Bellevue.
