She has a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition from Michigan State University, and is following her passion for food after leaving the pharmaceutical industry where she worked as a sales representative for nearly a decade. Nick’s Sticks Give Back To Benefit Fisher House Foundation

Life threw Nick Wallace a curveball when his plan of college baseball took a backseat to fighting lymphoma. Today he is a thriving cancer survivor and the co-founder of Wallace Farms. Nick’s dark moment became an inspiration to give back in a way that is good for body and soul.

Nick also believes in responsible farming practices. The cows are grass fed, which is much healthier than corn fed counterparts. Cows are also free to roam outdoors everyday. The Nick’s Sticks product starts with happy, healthy cows that aren’t on drugs.

The Fisher House Foundation is an organization that provides a home away from home for military families needing to be close to hospitalized loved ones due to illness or injury. In 2013, 22,000 families were served. This is an importatnt organization providing humanitarian needs beyond what is provided by the Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs.
