It was a picture perfect evening when guest arrived at Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa to help raise money for The Plaza Theater in Manalapan, Florida. A lavish cocktail hour started the evening off with both passed hors d’oeuvre and cheese displays and an open bar which included the specialty drink of the night – refreshing mojitos. The room at this elegant hotel was gorgeous and lit with sparkling crystal chandeliers. Panoramic glass windows allowed for the magnificent view of the pool, gardens, beach and ocean. And if you wanted some fresh air all you needed to do was go through the French doors that lead to the balcony where you could hear the breeze rustling through the trees and smell the salty sea air.

Following the mingling and munching everyone strolled across the street to the Plaza Theater for an enchanting evening of entertainment highlighted by Melissa Jacobson singing Liza Minnelli’s “Ring Them Bells” and well known actress and cabaret singer Mia Michaels belting out a tune as well. They were joined by a variety of additional performance to round out the evening. Guests were given a brief rundown of some of the upcoming shows and some background on the theater itself.  Alan Jacobson also got everyone excited about  the much anticipated Club Plaza which will open soon. The Club Plaza will host top cabaret performers at the piano bar, open mic comedy nights and offer drinks and refreshments in a comfortable cabaret setting.
