Prior to joining Trump International Realty New York and embarking on a career in real estate, Chanel worked at APrivateClub.com - a membership based city guide that provides exclusive access to New York culture and entertainment. Labeled by Gotham magazine as “New York's most elite social networking site,” Chanel gained valuable experience in business development and marketing, while obtaining critical networking and business skills that enable her to provide superior service to her clients.

Having attended New York’s Trinity High School and the Kent Boarding School in Connecticut, Chanel was a dean's list student and learned the values of positivity, persistence and diligence early on. She holds a BA in History and is a Graduate with Distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In addition, her overseas studies in Florence and Paris embellished her appreciation for cultivating cosmopolitan culture.

Born and raised in New York City, Chanel currently resides on the Upper East Side but has also lived on the Upper West Side and in the West Village. Her interests include tennis, fashion design and attending exhibits at museums and galleries. She is also a New York Cares volunteer, assisting children with early morning reading and tutorial math sessions.

The New York School of Interior Design (NYSID) will honor Mariette Himes Gomez with the Albert Hadley Lifetime Achievement Award, Interior designer for celebrities such as Michael J. Fox, Harrison Ford,and Bethenny Frankel. Gomez is noted by Architectural Digest as one of the “World’s Greatest Designers of All Time.” Charles Jencks  with the Thomas N. Armstrong III Award in Landscape Design, Landscape architect, author and co-founder of Maggie’s Centres, global cancer care centers designed by top architects such as Frank Gehry, Rem Koolhaas, Steven Holl and Zaha Hadid.
