Alexis Blair is the Baltimore & Annapolis Editor for Miss A. Born and raised in Baltimore, she has a passion for all things pop-culture, fashion and entertainment related. In addition to Harry Potter and her carefully-crafted Netflix queue, she particularly enjoys Baltimore sports teams, Broadway theater, and red velvet cupcakes. A graduate of Sewanee: The University of the South, she studied English, Economics and Spanish. After working in economic development in California wine country, she returned to Charm City to pursue her passion for journalism, currently working as an editorial assistant for a bridal magazine and a marketing coordinator for Baltimore's historic Federal Hill neighborhood.

It may be the week before St. Patrick’s Day, but that’s no reason you can’t start celebrating! Break out your green garb and prepare for a full day of libations in Historic Federal Hill. The annual  Irish Strollhosted by Lindy Promotions and the Federal Hill Hospitality Association, will feature an enclosed biergarten along Cross Street, strolling bagpipers, a leprechaun, and beads galore. Drink specials will run throughout the day at eighteen Federal Hill establishments, such as Ryleigh’s Oyster, Ropewalk Tavern, and Mother’s Grille. So grab a beer, don some beads, and go green to support the Federal Hill Thinking Green Fund, an effort to maintain and improve the natural beauty of the historic Baltimore community.
