Sometimes, laughter can be the best medicine. And no one knows this to be true better than the UCSF Medical Center, which along with The Painted Turtle, are hosting A Starry Evening of Music, Comedy and Surprises.

Produced by famous record producer and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Lou Adler and Broadway producer Kevin Duncan, the show will raise money that will go to benefiting the new UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay and the Painted Turtle, a free camp in Lake Hughes, California that provides children with chronic and life threatening diseases with medical and emotional support. The Painted Turtle has been working in conjunction with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital through their hospital outreach program to bring some of their programs to children in the Bay Area who are unable to attend their camp due to their health.

The evening will feature stars such as Annette Bening, Danny DeVito, Josh Groban, Randy Newman, Jack Nicholson, Renée Zellweger, Bonnie Raitt and will be followed by an exclusive after party at Zellerbach Hall.
