Text4Baby Selects Grammy Winning Singer-Songwriter Brandy Norwood As Ambassador

Over the last 4 years, Johnson and Johnson has partnered with the National Coalition for Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies to share critical health and pregnancy information to over 675,000 new and pregnant mothers through its innovative mobile health education program, Text4Baby.  Text4Baby grants expecting and new mothers 3 text messages per week, in English or Spanish, with information on health, safety, wellness and development reminders until the child turns one similar to the ones below:

“A seat belt protects you & your baby. Shoulder belt goes between your breasts & lap strap goes under your belly (not on or above). Wear it every time.”

“It’s time for baby’s 1-month Dr.’s visit. Your baby had blood tests right after she was born. At this visit, ask your Dr. for the results. “

In honor of its’ fourth anniversary and in celebration of reaching its target population, the program is getting its first celebrity brand ambassador, Grammy-winning mom, singer, songwriter and actress Brandy Norwood.

“With Text4baby’s free, personalized messages, pregnant women and new mothers can receive the critical information they need, exactly when they need it,” said Norwood. “The messages are helpful, interactive, and provide that extra bit of support we all need when raising a child.”
