Joy Endsley is a young writer living in East Atlanta. She has been writing as a hobby for years and is now taking a shot at making it her career. She is currently attending Georgia State university where she is an English and Journalism double major. Aside from her studies at GSU, Joy is also a student at Year Up Atlanta, a non-profit that focuses on closing the opportunity gap for youths from the ages of 18-24 and an Intern at AT&T as a project coordinator. She enjoys singing, traveling, and meeting new people. Most of all she loves spending time with her family and working hard to accomplish her long term goals.

Recap: 6th Annual Winter White Party In Atlanta To Benefit American Cancer Society

If you have seen the billboards all over town, then you know that on Monday, December 16 the most anticipated holiday party of the year finally took place. The historic Georgian Terrace Hotel hosted the 6th Annual Winter White Party for the third year in a row. The purpose for the party was not only to start the holiday season off with a bang, but to also raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society.

Former Miss USA, Jessica Black and celebrity stylist Christopher Macken were the emcees of the  magical evening full of non-stop excitement, socializing, unique entertainment, dancing, and holiday cheer.Guests of the event looked stunning in their winter white from head to toe, some showing off their most fashionable pieces, and others their most outrageous costumes. The crowd was filled with fashion designers, business professionals, artists, and even the Atlanta Falcon’s Cheerleaders.

The party had awesome live entertainment, with performances by Liquid Sky Entertainment, song artist Gabe, Atlanta’s best go go dancers, and several others. Also, guest enjoyed raffle prizes, great dance music all night, and a visit from Santa. The event was streamed live around the

world by award-winning media company, Milan Media. This year’s event was the largest one yet and is expected to be even bigger next year.

Together with millions of our supporters worldwide, we help people stay well, help people get well, find cures, and fight back against cancer” – American Cancer Society.

What a wonderful night at the Winter White Party, and what a great cause! If you didn’t come out this year, next year you definitely don’t want to miss it.
