The Avergan Foundation promotes awareness and acceptance of ASD and provides hope to affected families. Founders Allison and Tom Barnhill combined their children’s names to tell their story and name their foundation: “Avergan.” It is a foundation built around real and personal experiences and driven to impact the children and families affected by ASD. As parents of a child diagnosed with an ASD, Allison and Tom know the financial and emotional burdens can be overwhelming. They also understand the importance of early detection and intervention to the success of a child with autism.

Avergan Foundation’s goal is to provide scholarships to families who cannot afford to provide private educational services to their children, such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and special education. For more information regarding this event, individual donations or sponsorship opportunities, you can contact Allison Barnhill at averganfoundation@gmail.com.
