She attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where she studied hundreds of dietary theories, contemporary health issues and topics, as well as both Eastern and Western nutrition. Recap: The Humane Society Hosts Annual To The Rescue Gala & After Party In New York City

On Friday, November 15the Humane Society hosted their signature national benefit to support the lifesaving work of the Animal Rescue Team, which saves animals across the country from natural disasters, cruelty and neglect. The gala dinner took place at Cipriani 42nd Street. The event was co-chaired by Amanda Hearst, Georgina Bloomberg, Kimberly Ovitz, Michael Bloomberg, Mark Sanchez and New York Giants Prince Amukamara. Colbie Caillat gave a special music performance. The evening was hosted by Ali Wentworth and included a gourmet vegan dinner created by Candle Café and Candle 79

There was a fun after-party that took place at the Bowery Hotel. The after-party host, Angela Simmons, and the Giants’ Prince Amukamara among others made it a big New York celebration in support of the great cause. Hannah Bronfman and Kaelen were both guest DJs there. In addition, a table set up where people could receive henna tattoos, balloon artist and a fun photo booth. There were also scenes for a new tv show called Kings of New York that was being filmed starring Prince Lorenze Borghese.

This year’s event raised a record-breaking $1.6 million. Proceeds will be used to help the Animal Rescue Team save thousands of more lives from natural disasters or cruelties such as puppy mills, animal fighting operations, hoarding or neglect. Sponsors included whiskerDocs, Misix, Hearst Corporation, United Technologies, PVH, Candle 79, BBDO and Moroccan Oil.
