Holly Andersen grew up as an Army brat, traveling from post to post during childhood, but is proud to call Colorado her home. She enjoys hitting the running trails with her golden retriever, Shadow, as well as snowboarding and reading. A huge Denver sports fanatic, you can usually find Holly at Broncos and Avalanche games on the weekends. Holly has a degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a certified event planner.

Echter’s Garden Center Hosts Event To Benefit Hope House Of Colorado

Echter’s Garden Center will be partnering with local businesses this Thursday, November 21st, for a special night to benefit the Hope House of Colorado, a wonderful organization that supports teen mothers and their children by providing a safe, stable and loving home environment.

Local businesses will offer complimentary wine and food and showcase beautiful jewelry, clothing and accessories, luxurious body care, and gifts galore. Enjoy live, seasonal music and hear from one of the teen moms at Hope House. Event includes door prizes and tickets include 2 complimentary drinks at the bar. This is a great event to get into the holiday spirit of giving back while shopping for gifts.

Hope House of Colorado is metro-Denver’s only resource, providing teen moms residential mentoring and GED services, equipping them for long-term independence. Additional empowering services include parenting and life skills classes, healthy relationship classes, certified counseling, and social activities designed to promote community among the teen moms. Hope House relies on numerous volunteers and local business partnerships to accomplish its mission.
