Azucar’s November Fill-A-Plate To Benefit Senior Community Centers In San Diego

At the top of the street on the famous Newport Avenue in Ocean Beach, California you will find Azucar, my favorite Cuban coffee shop. Getting your morning coffee has never been so delightful. With a small town feel, employees that are pleasant, as well as a pumpkin spice latte that is to die for, this is one place that will be sure to give you your caffeine boost for the day and a smile on the way out. A favorite of the locals is the Café con Leche – two shots of sweetened Cuban espresso and steamed milk. Stemming from its Cuban roots and owner Vivian’s lifelong dream to combine her French training and specialize in a number of amazing delicacies, Azucar is quite the place!

Come into Azucar and support their “Fill-A-Plate” event throughout the month of November by making a  $2.00+ donation with your purchase, helping to buy food for a senior this month! Azucar has teamed up with the Senior Community Centers in order to raise funds that will provide a meal that is nutritious for low-income seniors over the holiday season. They will not let a senior go hungry this November and strive to help our seniors in the community.
