Miss A Columnist

Diane Peterson is a writer for the Baltimore and Annapolis area. Her dream is to be a pastry chef and own her own bakery, but in the meantime is working out of her mother’s kitchen. She loves dancing whether it’s ballet, jazz, or letting loose on a Saturday night in Federal Hill. Diane is studying PR and Advertising at Towson University and is graduating with a Bachelor’s in Mass Communication in the spring of 2014.
She sprinkles her conversations with sarcasm and thinks that most people take her too seriously. She loves making people smile and her favorite gift to give is a hug. She has lived in Baltimore all her life yet people tell her she speaks with a Southern twang.
Meeting new people and going on day trips are her favorite hobbies, and moving to the west coast is her life goal. Until that day comes, she continues to fight a battle with humid Maryland weather and frizzy hair to prove it.

Eat. Shop. Fund! The Hampden Village Merchants are hosting a charity night this Wednesday to support various charities EatShopFundincluding House of Ruth, Moveable Feast, MD SPCA and MD Food Bank. A portion of each purchase made that evening will be donated to the charity of your choice. At the time of purchase, you will be presented with a card and you can choose which of the featured charities you wish to send a portion of the profits.
