Tracie Rosales has always loved fashion and make-up. After graduating from college, Tracie went to National Makeup Academy, and then to M.A.C. school. After moving to Northern Virginia with her husband, she decided to start her own company “Makeup Artistry by Tracie”.

In the four years that Makeup Artistry by Tracie has been a company, it has been honored with several awards and milestones. In 2007, The Washington Mystics (WNBA) invited Tracie to participate in events and do the girls' makeup, which she does every year. In 2008, MABT was invited to the White House’s staff appreciation day, to speak about skin care and makeup. MABT was also honored by winning the 2008 Home Based Business of the Year. In 2009 Makeup Artistry by Tracie was featured in Northern Virginia Magazine as Best Makeup Application. Tracie volunteers for charities such as The Loudoun Small Business Development Center, Arthritis Foundation, Nationals Incorporated Pageants, Active Girlz, and The Soldiers Angels Foundation.

Miami Children’s Museum Target 3rd Fridays 

Every third Friday of the month, join the Miami Children’s Museum with free admission in the afternoon, sponsored by Target.  Enjoy interactive activities, crafts and storytelling.  Children can explore hundreds of bilingual, interactive exhibits related to arts, culture, community and communication.  The museum is a hit with children and adults in South Florida.

Twelfth Annual Storybook Festival and Parade

The City of Pembroke Pines presents King “Arthur’s” Round Table of Tales.  Join the Pembroke Pines Southwest Regional Library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with storyteller David Novak, as he brings to life classic fairy-tales and myths.  Children dressed in costume will be able to join in the Parade.  The entire day is set to bringing magic of books alive with arts and crafts, music, dance and imagination.  The first 1,000 children will receive a free book provided by Baptist Health.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society: Light the Night Walk

Join in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society‘s Light the Night Walk to raise funds to cure blood cancer.  Whether you walk on your own and join a team or create a team of your own, the evening will be filled with hope and inspiration.  During the leisurely walk you will see balloons being carried along the way, white is for survivors, red for supporters and gold in memory of loved ones lost to cancer.  Light the Night forms a community of caring and bring light to the dark world of cancer.

Miami Book Fair International (Opening Day)

The Miami Book Fair will celebrate its 30th year, on Sunday November 17th.  The Book Fair is an eight day literary party every November.  The highlight of the Street Fair is the Festival of Authors, with more than 350 authors reading and discussing their work, including the Latin American and Spanish authors who participate in the IberoAmerican Authors Program.  Get your first edition signed, original manuscripts and other collectibles.
