Lesley Haenny is the Seattle Editor for Miss A. She is an Air Force wife now living in the Seattle area. Prior to living in Seattle, Lesley spent 7 years in Washington, DC, working as a Congressional liaison. She grew up in a small, mountain town in Southern California, sandwiched between an older sister and a younger brother. Her two hard working parents taught her to always go for the clearance rack, bring your lunch everyday, work hard for what you have, and always take the opportunity to travel and play outside. Lesley has been actively involved in various charities such as the Animal Resource Foundation, Komen For the Cure, Prevent Cancer Foundation, American Diabetes Association and the Race for Hope (benefitting the National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure).

Holiday Stock-Up Pop-Up At The Glass Distillery In Seattle

On Thursday, November 21, the Glass Distillery will host a holiday stock-up pop-up event, just in time for the Christmas shopping season!

Fashion, libations and savory delights will be on tap for the evening.  Fashion Bar will host a festive fashion show, featuring the latest trends for all of your holiday cocktail party needs including sexy dresses and party wear, exquisite jewelry, handbags and much more!  Fashion Bar, J Project and Closet Space will also be hosting three mobile fashion boutiques.

Local food trucks including Seattle Biscuit Company and Now Make Me a Sandwich will be on-site, providing delectable cuisine for your taste buds.  Glass Distillery will be offering selections of their unique grape-based vodkas, which will also be available for purchase.  Shoppers will also have the opportunity to bottle their own vodka (while supplies last!).

Salish Lodge & Spa will have  gift sets available for purchase, including their Salish Honey-Flavored Vodka,  tasting glasses, a jar of of their Salish Honey and a holiday cocktail ring by Fashion Bar. They will also have a pop-up store featuring their signature collection of food items, such as Salish Honey Ale Jam and Honey Caramel Corn.

Glass Distillery maintains a firm commitment to actively support the efforts of local nonprofit organizations in their quest to fund vital services and research advancements in the areas of health & human services, arts and culture, and education in the Pacific Northwest community. This year, they have supported the March of Dimes, the Museum of Glass, Pilchuck School of Glass, the Seattle International Film Festival, Catherine Blaine Elementary School, and many others. In the next month, they are participating in auctions to support St. Martin’s University in Lacey, Wash and Childhaven.
