4th Annual Holiday Lights And Ice At Omni Barton Creek Resort Spa In Austin

Photo Credit: Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa

This year’s fourth annual Barton Creek Holiday Lights and Ice event in Austin will be a holiday event to remember! I have never visited the resort for this skating and lighting event, but my friend who works for the resort told me that it definitely is an occasion that is worth your while to attend. If you have ever been to the Barton Creek Resort, then you know that it is definitely a site to see, and if not, it is surely worth making a trip out there. Located in the majestic hill country, locals and guests of Austin can appreciate and enjoy all that the resort has to offer.

Activities of the annual skating and lighting event will include skating, s’mores, games, twinkling lights and more. Twinkling lights while twirling on ice really sets either the family fun or friendly outing tone for the holidays. The 4,100-square-foot ice rink will be located on the Barton Creek Resort lighted tennis courts, and will be accompanied by a display of 200,000 lights.

A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Central & South Texas, benefiting local children in need. This will be Barton Creek Resort’s third year to partner with Make-A-Wish of Central & South Texas to help raise funds to grant special wishes for deserving children with life-threatening medical conditions. One dollar from every skating session ticket sold will be donated to Make-A-Wish of Central & South Texas.
