The theme this year is “Taste Something New” offering a wide variety of delicious cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and desserts for everyone to enjoy. Some of the vendors participating include everything from Dave and Buster’s to Primo Hoagies. For those who are interested in healthy choices, Whole Foods, Honest Tea, and Honey Grow items will be available. In honor of Philadelphia having been recently named the #1 craft beer town, there will be a beer garden in the Atrium featuring many excellent local breweries, including Yards Brewery. The list above is just the beginning of the food and drink options available from local restaurants, bars, and breweries. In addition, while eating and drinking to their hearts content, attendees will also be able to enjoy music from the band “The Business.”

Each year the Taste of Philly gives a portion of the ticket proceeds to a charity. This year No Kid Hungry will be the charity that receives these donations. No Kid Hungry works to provide food for children who live in households that struggle just to eat each day. According to their website, “Nearly one in five children in America lives in a household that struggles to put food on the table. They may look no different than other children; child hunger in America is often invisible. They are hurting, just the same.”

Tickets are only $35 per person, so be sure to purchase today to contribute to this great cause!
